Striving to more properly convey the Star Wars story, Complete Saga has added some new levels, bringing the total to 36. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga's larger gallery of fan favorites ensures that gamers can re-arrange certain story elements in whatever manner they deem fit. Always wanted Princess Leia and her mother Padme to tag-team Darth Maul? Go ahead. Boss Nass, R5-D4, and Watto are among the newly playable faces, and characters can be swapped in and out by choosing any level's Free Play mode after that level's story mode has been finished.
While each LEGO Star Wars did a phenomenal job of dipping into the deep character pool of that beloved far away galaxy, The Complete Saga extends the roster to over 120 playable droids, Jedis, and Darths. Characters have a shinier, more colorful look reminiscent of giving a beautiful yet old paint job a fresh coat of color: It looked good before, but is even more impressive now.
Complete Saga keeps the classic LEGO graphics firmly intact, but pumps high resolution upgrades into Lucas' universe. More expressive than Hayden Christensen and Jake Lloyd combined, the graphics of LEGO Stars Wars I and II allowed developer Traveler's Tales to give the dramatic Star Wars storyline a humorous twist.
